Twitter gets ready to cull immense accounts

Twitter has decided to start off huge accounts those are not inactive for more than six months, unless they log in before 11 December, 2019. The user who stopped posting on the Twitter because they are died will be included on the cull unless someone with login credentials is able to log in their accounts. However, it is the first time twitter is going to remove account at an enormous rate. It was because users who do not log in since long days were not able to accept the privacy policy of twitter. A spokeswoman also said it would develop reliability by removing obsolete accounts from people's follower counts, something which may give a user an incompatible sense of importance. Accounts which are not logged in at least once in a past six months will be cut through from 11 December.

Twitter said it will be a gradual process.  The first batch of deleted accounts will involve who had been registered outside of the US.

The site has sent out warning emails to the customers that are on list of being deletion. The site does not publish how many accounts fit the criteria although it is expected to be in more than millions. Twitter will send more notice to the customers when it will be closer to the deadline.
